Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy working in the fields of Environment, Management, Design and Planning for 25 years. The company has broad experience in both small and larger scale projects in Malta, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. They are expanding and are looking for an Architect & Civil Engineer to join their growing team.
This position calls for individuals who are in possession of the warrant of Perit and are licensed to work as such within Malta.
The chosen applicant is to be willing to work in a small, versatile, tight knit team with experiences spanning from the initial conceptual stages to the evolution of design, the final stages and follow up of planning submission, followed by detailed design, tender preparations, construction supervision and certification. The chosen candidate will be working on a plethora of projects varying from residential to commercial, industrial to leisure, as well as specialist buildings; creating spaces imbued with idiom, rhythm, a discursive experience of a sense of place in full respect of the surrounding environment. The chosen applicant will be a team key player within the firm’s team of designers, architects, and engineers. The practice has been responsible for the formulation of master plans and public urban design, material advocacy planning, specialist planning documents like EIAs and TIAs, restoration reports, urban studies as well as the preparation of background studies for a number of Local Plans.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Architecture MQF Level 6 - Master’s Degree in Architectural Design MQF Level 7 or - Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design MQF Level 7 or - An equivalent MQF Level 7 degree from a recognized University.
The chosen candidate needs to be a team player, inquisitive, ready to meet new challenges, hardworking, and enjoy ample knowledge in the building, construction and environmental fields. Qualifications in earth sciences and/or ecology studies and/or chemistry and/or biology; as well as demonstrated ability to manage projects, produce and deliver agreed results within stringent time frames, fluency in Italian and conversant with other foreign languages, as well as knowledge of funding programs are considered an asset.
