Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Foreign Exchange Administrator to join their dynamic team. The FX Admin will coordinate monthly FX transactions in liaison with FX management and providers. The main responsibilities attached to the role are:
Performing day-to-day generic administrative duties via telephone as well as email
Updating the database ensuring all relevant information is up to date
Maintaining correspondence with clients and FX providers, dealing with any queries that may arise
Ensuring compliance checks are adhered to as per Anti Money Laundering Regulations which includes collating full MLR documentation and formulating KYC (Know Your Client) packs for each client
Contacting clients and consultants for payment details
Handling all payments on the Online platform and initiating payment settlements
Ensuring due diligence is adhered to with regards to trade contracts and other relevant documents
Opening of private and corporate accounts on both the CRM System and the FX platform
Updating foreign exchange social media on a daily basis whilst keeping abreast with current news and events happening in the currency markets
Maintaining balance sheet on funds left on account
Formulating and reconciling trade sheets for future reference
Promoting foreign exchange services by phone and/or email as and when requested by the management
Training new recruits when required
Handling any ad-hoc projects when requested by the management
Requirements:
Minimum “A” Level education and/or diploma level. Degree level of education would be considered an asset
Previous experience in a telephone-based role, customer service and/or administration
Exposure to currency markets considered an asset
ECDL Certified
