Job Description: An opportunity has arisen for an IT Services & Support Analyst to join the company’s team. The ideal candidate would be keen to deliver high quality service to fellow employees. The main responsibilities of the role are:
Providing on-site and remote full-service desk support
Configuring, troubleshooting and providing hardware and software support for firm laptop and desktop computers, printers, and peripherals
Handling optimization and performance of the hardware and local infrastructure
Managing support tickets using Helpdesk software
Handling identity and access management for all existing and new users
Maintaining current inventory records as part of the asset management program
Participating in planned maintenance activities that may occur outside office hours
Contributing to, producing and maintaining processes, procedures, operational and architectural documentation, that meet the company’s IT Standards
Assisting in training staff in technical processes and procedures
Being available on-call for technical issues that may come up outside of office hours
Requirements:
At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in a technology support role in a medium sized environment
Experience managing enterprise level ticketing software (such as Sysaid or ServiceNow)
Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 productivity apps, including Visio, Project, Skype for Business, and others
A minimum of 1 year working on and supporting networks and systems on Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016
Project Management experience
Working knowledge with as many of the following or similar technologies will be considered an asset:
Ability to describe technical information quickly and in easy-to-understand terms
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
Time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise work loads
