Our client is a local company offering a vast portfolio of goods and services in the local industrial automation sector. Their vast product range covers all day-to-day requirements of production facilities, commercial entities and also hobbyist establishments. Their team of engineers and technicians also specialize in on-site repairs of various industrial machinery and custom building of new automated and semi-automated machines.
They are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.
The focus of the Technical Sales Engineer will be to sell by developing and generating new projects. Individual must use technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on our range of products and services. Technical Sales Engineers are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and after-sales advice.
The Technical Sales Engineer must be a qualified engineer, individuals with previous relevant experience will be given preference.
Main skills include strong organisational skills since the individual must work on own initiative. Other important traits include strong communication skills, analytical skills, team working skills, sales skills and commercial awareness.
The chosen candidate will be working on a full-time basis from 8am-1pm and from 2pm-5pm from Monday to Friday.
