
Our client provides a wide variety of services including compliance, risk management, insurance technical assistance, accounting reporting and payroll services to their clients.
They are seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Posting of technical and non-technical transactions in the accounting system;
- Affecting bank payments and undertake reconciliations;
- Assisting in the preparation of periodical management accounts;
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and in annual statutory audits;
- Assisting in the preparation of Tax and VAT return before submission;
- Assisting in the preparation of regulatory returns to the regulatory authorities;
- Assisting in other general accounting duties as may be required.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and/or studying for ACCA;
- 2 years experience within a similar role;
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with SunSystems will be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of insurance will be considered an asset.
