Field Technician

Our client is a leading local Maltese company which has built an impeccable reputation for specialising in solutions for the automation industry, from engineered systems to standard components.  They are looking for a Field Technician to manage onsite installations and repairs with a drive for service success and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage onsite installations, repairs, maintenance and test tasks by comprehending customer requirements and making appropriate recommendations.
• Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation
• Respond directly to Head Field Technician and Technical Operations Supervisor
• Document processes by producing timely and detailed service reports
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Build positive relationships with customers

Qualifications and Skills:

Individual must have technical certification and proven field service experience; being familiar to power tools and applications. Candidates who poses Electrical Licenses A and B shall be given preference.
